Does Oracle calculate wrong monthly lease payment schedules in assets

edited Sep 12, 2017 5:00AM in Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

Oracle calculates a monthly interest rate by dividing the annual rate by 12 !!!! Tt's wrong

If  you have an annual interest  rate =12% then Oracle calculates a montly interest rate = 12%/12 = 1% !!!

Normally when we set an annual interest rate of 12%, we should have a monthly interest rate equal to   ((1 + 0,12)^(1/12) -1) = 0,009488793 = 0,95%
