Should we customize R42800 where it triggers DMAAIs?

Could you please confirm if 'DMAAI-Trigger' can be customized in R42800 or MBF called by R42800 to cater to below requirement -

We need a customization on Sales Update program such that:

• Only applies when DMAAI 4220 (COGS) or 4270 (adv pricing) is called
• When these DMAAIs walk into an account that doesn’t allow posting, than the Deferred Sales Account should be retrieved and used in stead.
• The way to retrieve Deferred Sales Account is to search in the same DMAAI by same company, same doc type but new G/L class which should come from processing option of R42800 (GL Class value ‘XXXX’ – not to be used from item location or line type constant or item master),
