WMS ASN Receiving Mobile Apps

can someone explain the advantage of an ASN in a WMS environment when using MSCA over standard PO receipt?

There does not appear to be a difference whether you use receipt by order or express. Same steps either way. Each line is validated with an LPN creation. We are using standard receipt with directed Putaway.

I have seen posts where people claim to receive the entire ASN with a single scan.  Am I missing a setup?
