New Business Classification linked to a lookup

Hi All,

My client requires a new business classification type that has different 'types' (statuses) linked to it.  As the business classification status field lookup (POS_BUS_CLASS_STATUSES) has the Access Level of 'System' we cannot update the values in this Lookup.

Therefore, our idea is to create a lookup that is similar to the Minority Owned business classification:

I know how to create a new business classification and a new lookup, my issue is that I do not know how to link the two in the same way that the Minority Owned classification is linked to the Minority Type lookup.
