Siebel ABO - Swap product automatically at the time of renewal

We use Siebel ABO for order capture functionality. We'll implement selling of print product using Siebel pretty soon. Currently all print products are sold using old IDMS legacy systems. Our company sells print products and create new version in the beginning of year.

e.g. This year we've product "New Jersey case Law 2017" and early next year same product will be revised and sold with new product "New Jersey case Law 2018"

We've many customers on auto renewal contract. i.e once their subscription expires we'll have to renew them again automatically for the next year. Today its not an issue as same products will be renewed for next year BUT with addition of print product we'll have to swap currently year volume with next year's volume which is another product (New Jersey case Law 2018)
