Critical Patch Update July 2017 for Oracle POS Related Problems

in Retail Point-of-Service Solutions (MOSC) Question

Hello !!

I have downloaded critical patch update for xstore POS version 7.1 and have two zip files as below

a) p26445391_71000_Generic

b) p26445381_71000_Generic

I have implemented suggested changes in existing code base to achieve point (a).

As its instructed to perform below points to make this changes applicable , where point no 5 is creating doubt for me , Why this manual changes ? If we already committed changes in code base it should come automatically in the build, if not then how we can make it auto included in the build to avoid manual steps ? Please let me know.

1. Download the hotfix from MOS.
