Hard disk replacement on hardware RAID1- Disk is missing

in Disk Storage 2000, 3000, 6000 RAID Arrays & JBODs (MOSC) Question

We have hardware RAID1 set up on Sun Netra X4250 Server. Server has 2 internal disks on RAID1.

One of the disk were faulty and we replaced it, but the new disk doesn't start syncing data.

The newly installed disk is showing as missing on Raid properties.

Os is RHEL 5 and we have Megaraid manager tool to use.

We reboot the server and remove the disk and placed it back but no help.

What do you recommend?
