Depreciation method wrongly defined

Hi,

Depreciation Method is defined with wrong life of years. example: Depreciation method which is having 5 years and it will start 0yr, 1month and 0yr 2 months,. . . . 5yrs 1month, 5yrs 2months, 5yrs 3 months, 5yrs 4 months, 5yrs 5 months, 5yrs 7months etc... in this sequence 5yrs 6 months is missing. we have assigned this method for many Asset Categories.

Please let us know what is the solution for this. if permanent fix is not feasible then please let us know the workaround solution.
