OEM 12c (12.1.0.4) failed to create named credentials for a oracle 12c DB running on RHEL 7

Hi there,

I have recently deployed OEM 12.1.0.4 agent on a RHEL 7.3 x86_64 VM running Oracle 12.1.0.2 (64 bit)

The host have been correctly discovered by OEM (the host and the DB show up green), however, I'm unable to set "named credentials" to the newly added DB machine albeit that the Oracle password is correct.

The only message I'm getting is "Test Failed." "Error"

And because of this, I'm unable to run a backup job.

Would the cause be that OEM12c release 4 (12.1.0.4) does not support Red Hat Linux 7.3 x86_64?
