Steps to Performing a Dev to Production Test or Production Environment Upgrade From IP 2013 to IP 20

Hi All,

We have recently upgraded our Development Environment from 8.1.1.11 (IP 2013) to IP 2016 (Patch Set 14).After the Dev Upgrade, we have done some development to fix the errors.

We have followed the below steps for Dev Upgrade.

1. Remove the existing SWSE configuration on the Web server .

2. Install Siebel Enterprise Server as a Migration Installation.

3. Run Incremental Repository Merge.

     a). Copying Ancestor Repositories.

     b). Prepare Siebel Tools

          ServerDbODBCDataSource   = SSD default instance

          [ServerDataSrc]

          Docked                   = TRUE

          ConnectString            = SSD default instance

          SymStrPrefix = SBL_

          EnableToolsConstrain     = FALSE

          DockRepositoryName       = Prior Customer Repository

     c) At the Time of IRM we have selected

          Environment Type: Development

          Upgrade Options: upgrep
