Can we use Catalog functionality in Purchasing without installing eprocurement

HI,

We are using PeopleSoft 9.2 Purchasing but we do not have eprocurement module installed. There is a link "Catalog" under Purchasing>> Requisitions>> Add/Update Requisition- Maintain Requisition page. I want to know if we can use the Catalog functionality as of now( just with base Purchasing module) without installing eprocurement or not. My understanding is that the Catalog functionality can be used after doing some setups( like creating Catalog tree/ assigning catalogs to requesters etc). Please confirm.
