Is it possible to add an ad-hoc email address when dispatching a PO?
When we went live with PeopleSoft it was necessary for us to provide the users with the FAX option to dispatch PO’s and so we used the third party software ‘Merkur’ for the FAX and EMAIL dispatch methods. Our users developed a process of entering their email address as ad-hoc to make sure the PO Dispatch did send the email and attachment, as well as having a copy to forward on to the supplier. A business decision was made this year to eliminate the option to FAX dispatch PO’s and the Merkur software will be eliminated during our PUM24 upgrade
