Leave Timecards Processing in Payroll

Hi members,

Please let me know your views on my queries -

1. We require Leave Timecards to be processed in Payroll. But Leave Validation for the Balances and Verification will be done in an external system and Leave Balances are maintained in custom Leave Management process. We will still need Leave Types created and mapped 1 to 1 with Leave PDBAs? If Accruals are maintained externally then Leave Accrual DBAs will not be needed? Leave Balances will get calculated automatically for Leave Pay Type and reflect in Payslip?

2. If Leave Verification and Validation are not needed in JDE we still have to create Leave Verifification rules?
