How to upgraded 11g dataguard to 12c dataguard which should be with one cdb and one pdb with minimal

Hi gurus.

We have a data guard with 11g version 11.2.0.4.xxx on Linux redhat and it is in production state. we must upgrade it to 12c and the customer  of course wants in cbd-pdb format when the upgrade is done.

we have been upgrading the databases in a data guard system with rolling upgrade methodic but Is it also applicable if we want to create a cdb and plug in the database to it as pdb?

in normal cases you run the script physrh.sh, do the upgrade as a normal upgrade in standby and go ahead with the rest and you know the rest. However, I do not know if during the upgrade I create a cdb and plug the database into it the  rest will work.
