Unable to enable accrue at receipt at shipment level for autocreated PO's

Accrue at period is set for expense items at Org level, but we have a requirement to accrue at receipt for specific PO's, but we are not able to enable accrue at receipt at shipment level for autocreated PO's (12.2.5).
