in Compensation and Benefits - EBS (MOSC) Question

We are on EBS 12.1.3 Standard Benefits.  I ran the Recalculate Participant Values after Compensation Workbench to update the Benefit Coverage Amount on the Company Paid Life.  No all the beneficiaries for this benefit are end dated with the date that I recalculated the benefits.  Is this supposed to work like this or if this a bug?  Is there a way to mass remove the end-dates so that employees do not have to re-elect during open enrollment??
