urgent - issue with smartview

Would need your guidance on the below, we have been facing a strange issue recently with smartview. in a nutshell, we recently scaled down our environments by removing hfm instances.

now after a week of doing the down scaling, the smartview url has got an issue.

We use a load balancer and the url for hfm is https://xyz/worspace/index.jsp and for smartview     https://xyz/hfmofficeprovider/hfmofficeprovider.aspx

means the load balancer redirect it to the appropriate port, hwever, now the hfm workspace url works and the smartview doesn't. it says cannot connect to the provider. if i use the url http:servername/hfmofficeprovider/hfmofficeprovider.aspx then it works.
