Consolidating HFM Entity from FDMEE

Hi

I am using HFM,FDMEE 11.1.2.4 version.

I have a FDMEE load locaion (File based load) using which users import a text file,validate and then Export to HFM. Despite the consolidation status in Process Log shows success after the data load to HFM,the Actual consolidation of the loaded Entity do not seem to happen. I have the consolidation parameter enabled in both Target Application and Data Load rule.

I would like know,Wouldn't the Consolidation of the Entity happen without setting up an Entity Check group referring to that Entity? Is this mandatory step to enable HFM consolidation from FDMEE?
