Use of the group contract having different process option.

While creating new contract as group contract there are 3 different process option - 1) Group multi Supplier 2) Group Single Supplier and 3) Special Purpose. If I can get some detailed documentation on this group contract having different contract process option and also the actual business process of the group contract.
