Error: Classification/Pay X-Ref Invalid

Hello All,

While trying to enter a pay type via ESS Daily Time Entry (P051125), I am being presented with the following error:

"Classification/Pay X-Ref Invalid: The Pay Type entered is not valid for the employees Job Type/Step/Union and Business Unit Combination." Error details attached in PDF below.

I have looked into and confirmed the following:

  • P050002A (Time Entry MBF) processing options for option 2-Pay Types, item 2 are set to: 1 - Validate the pay type
    • When option changed back to 0 - Do Not Validate; the error still appears
  • P05932 has been set up to identify the valid pay types for a specific group of employees
