opatchauto in RAC / datapatch

Hi,

during patching of OL 7.4 RAC 12.2 env with "opatchauto apply" I have noticed the datapatch was called by opatchauto already after the first node GI- and RDBMS home was patched

(saw a clue in the tailed alert.log, that the pdb$seed was opened in RW-mode).

I ever thought the datapatch, which load the modified SQL into the database, won't called by opatchauto until the last node homes was patched.

Am I mistaken or is that an expected behaivior.
