Can unit Price be prevented from getting negative when base Price is zero?

When Base Price of item is not defined and Price Adjustment with negative factor is applicable to a particular item-customer combination, resultant unit Price is sales order detail line gets driven to negative.

Is is there any way to prevent price Adjustment getting applied in such a situation?

This refers to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
