EAM outside Resources

Hii. I have seen some questions asked around on this topic, but could not get a clean approach yet.  Apologies if this has been addressed already.

We have about 13 outside contractors who are always at the plant .

Each contractor has 3 kind of resources - Shop Labor, FOREMAN, SKILLED WORKER

Each resource has a Standard Rate, an Overtime Rate and a Double Time Rate.

We are interested only in capturing the total spend against each vendor - not at the resource level  -  Shop Labor, FOREMAN, SKILLED WORKER

To map this into EAM, is the only option available to create 13 x 3 x 3 resources in EAM? Is there any other smarter way to do this  - including any kind of customizations anyone has done?
