How to change the Org of an install base instance which is being issued to a project

The business scenario is as follows.

The serialized rebuildable items are received in to a inventory org which holds the project stock.

These rebuildables are issued to a project as per need.

When these project items are capitalized and created as FA, there is a need to create these items as EAM assets in another EAM org for maintaining those assets.

As these rebuildable serial numbers are already tracked in install base by default and instances are created, system doesn't allow to create EAM asset numbers with the same serial numbers in EAM org.

Is there any possibility to change the item instance org of such rebuildable serial numbers which have been already issued to projects from a project inventory org to an EAM org.
