Work order level attachments are not getting updated after associating a activity.

Activity attachments doesn't gets updated for the existing work order when changes are made to it. Once the activity with operations and resources is attached to the work order the     fields are greyed out, Any subsequent changes made to the activity attachments is not getting reflected to the work order and It is also seen that the newly created work orders after the subsequent changes made to its activity had the latest attachments

Please do let me know the possible solutions
