This is in reference with bug Bug 7708340, which states that the issue has been fixed above version 11.2.0.1 and we are using 11.2.0.4 as the caller to call a package  from a 9i database which gives the same error as mentioned in the Bug.

ORA-4052: error occurred when looking up remote object <remote package>@&lt;dblink>

ORA-6541: PL/SQL: compilation error - compilation aborted

ORA-6553: PLS-908: The stored format of <remote package>@&lt;dblink> is not supported by this release
