Confirm how the ESCT Amount Extended cost is populated within the F4111

There is an on hand quantity in place for an item branch record within the cardex; however the extended cost field is not populated within the header segment of the interactive version of the P4111. The value is blank and per the cardex records both the on-hand quantity and unit cost are in place.  Any feedback on the cause would be greatly appreciated.
