S_FN_ASSET_LIAB.ASSET_FLG

What is the ASSET_FLG used for in the S_FN_ASSET_LIAB table? Since it cannot be null, is it being used somewhere as a system column? I am asking because I would like to use it as an indicator flag to select a particular row out of a rowset.
