Need to post entry in adjustment period but want it copied in the 'Next' normal period in the Second

Hi,

We have a primary and secondary books with different calendars. I am aware that because of this the adjustment entry entered in, say, ADJ-SEP-17 will get copied onto the SEP-17 period in the secondary books.

Now our requirement is that the entry entered in ADJ-SEP-17 period in Primary should get copied to the OCT-17 period instead. Is this achievable in Oracle by any chance? Else is there a workaround that you can think of?
