Does anyone knows about Lumpsum Discount, and how to discount it only on the price list amount for i

The Lumpsum discount modifier needs to discount only the price list amount on the item not greater than it, does oracle has that finctionality? We have scenarios where the price of the item that qualify for the lumpsum discount, in some cases are less than the lumpsum discount, so I would like to know if Oracle has the capability to define on the modifier that only discounted the price list amount of the item and not greater that it, in order to avoid getting negative amounts. 

For example: 

A modifier with Lumpsum discount = 100 for orders above 500.00 usd that applies only for specific items.
