Approver Delegation

Hi,

I want to delegate the approving authorities from one approver to another but both are in the hierarchy.

Please suggest should i delegate approver 2 roles so that approver 3 can approve it.?Also please note when approver 2 joins back then again i have to revert back the changes in that case if i try delegating it back it is very difficult.

Approver 3

Now approver 2 is going on leave and he has asked me to delegate it to approver 3 so that in his absence approver 3 can approve.Should i use delegate application to delegate the responsibilities from approver 2 to approver 3 ?or leave it as it is?
