Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Setting up an extended RAC. At the moment I have 2 data and 2 quorum sites .

I'm reading that quorom sites now have to be on ASM. ( or at least file systems are desupported)

for the 3rd quorum site, what do I need as minimum requirements? It needs to be a physical machine with a local GI installed with ASM?

or can it be a LUN offered on the network, with the ASM managed from the other nodes?
