How to view products in a specific sequence under promotion when added to quote/order line item

Dear Team,

I am facing a challenge to display the root products under a promotion in a requested sequence when a promotion is getting added. I have tried the option of using the promotion UI, which aligns the products under the promotion when we do Edit Promotion and the UI it brings up, but still, the sequence in which it gets added or displayed in the quote/order line item is not the same.

Am I doing anything wrong or missing anything. Appreciate any help regarding this.
