Last completed readings in PM Schedule

We are exploring meter based PM schedules in 9.1. For a meter based PM, When MLTW is set as '1' in F1207 and R12807 is run, last completed meter readings are getting updated in weird manner. For example, we have a service type for 3000 miles. Existing last completed miles on the PM schedule is 5000 and existing meter reading is 6000. When R12807 is run, the PM schedule will not be generated but last completed miles will be updated as (5000+3000) = 8000. This value should not have been updated in this case and is incorrect. Has anyone faced
