how to change 'Instance Usage code' in IB page

Hi All,

We have few instances whose 'Instance Usage code' is showing as 'in transit', while these instances are already shipped to customer site. 'Usage Code' not changed to 'OUT_OF_ENTERPRISE'.

How we can change this value, as this is showing as 'not updatable' in IB page.

Whether we can change it using any process OR does it changes automatically (based on transactions done on that instance)? Few serials are in 'IB interface' with some error. Can I assume that after resolving these errors, 'Instance Usage Code' will change to correct value for these serials in IB?

Please reply accordingly.
