Shared Parents appearing in zoom/member select when they should not

Hi all,  I am having an issue with SmartView and AdHoc grids where members that should not appear on zoom or member selection appear.  I have a primary entity rollup, BU1 to which users have access to the entire unit rollup (idescendants of BU1).  This includes all parents within the primary structure for the business unit.  Those parent members are used in alternate hierarchies as shared members.

     ALTBU1

When zooming or expanding Entity from the top member Entity, I expect to get only BU1 as an immediate child of Entity.
