As per our requirement we want to amortize revaluation reserve based on the difference between the balance in the revaluation reserve and a certain salvage value for the revaluation reserve which will eventually be amortized on disposal of asset.

Example:

Life of Asset 12 months

Revaluation Reserve 12000

Salvage Value of "Revaluation Reserve" 1000

Amortization Month 1

(12000-1000)/12 =916.67

The Salvage value of "Revaluation Reserve" 1000 has to be realized on its Disposal.
