OTB Calculation on MFP

Hi,

In the MFP configuration the OTB is calculated by the following formula:

MPWPOTBR = MPCPEOPR - MPWPEOPR + MPWPRcptR - MPWPNOOR

Could someone please explain me the reason why the difference between the Current Plan and Working Plan Inventories (MPCPEOPR - MPWPEOPR) is used in the calculation?
