Epson FP 81 II status issue in Italy (xstore / Ops-eur)
A customer has issues when printing the 1st receipt after executing a store-open process. Initially 'non-fiscal' reports are printed on the Epson FP 981 ii from the back-office (BO). Those go fine.
Then the customer logs out of the BO and does a login on the Register and handles the 1st transaction.
When Xstore tries to access the Fiscal Printer sometimes a ' Wrong status' error message is being returned other times error '106'= 'Illegal' is aborting the process.
In the Xstore log there is not enough information to pin-point to what is happening but the only way for the customer to continue is restarting Xstore. We have a feeling that it looks like Xstore is looking into memory to check the status of the Fiscal Printer instead of doing a check on the physical hardware. We believe it may do something like e.g.
