Xstore and ORSIM pick up orders

This  is related to v16. When Xstore is integrated with SIM for inventory does the pickup in store or pickup in another store create an order in SIM? The reason for this question is because we do not seem to see that happening. Is there any configuration that needs to be enabled in Xstore for the same?
