No issues with ALTER SYSTEM SET CELL_OFFLOAD_PROCESSING=FALSE?

Hi

Oracle 11.2.0.4.161018 on AIX7.1.

We've encountered waits for 'ksv master wait' & 'ASM File Metadata Operation' which led me to Doc 1308282.1.  I know it states right in the that you can issue the "ALTER SYSTEM" as one solution, however my boss wants confirmation from Oracle that doing-so will not cause any issues.

Can I just get a blessing from an Oracle employee that this can be done without issue?
