Branch type LOV in the bank branch creation screen

Hi,

What happens when one chooses different 'Branch Type' in the branch creation screen.

The LOV has ABA,CHIPS,OTHER, SWIFT.

Are there any validations built in oracle ?

The page behaves the same irrespective of my choice of branch type.

How does each choice affect the branch creation process ?

How is this LOV helpful ?

How can this LOV be better leveraged to prevent duplication of bank branches and maintain the accurate bank branch records.
