Forgot password link option is nto working on sso login page

We have OAM-OIM integrated environment and we are using OID as a OAM Identity store. We have bulkloaded the set of users in OID and pushed  those users to OIM using LDAP recon jobs.

Now all users are in OID and OIM as well.

Some times users want to set the new password when they forgot the existing password. To do this  they are using  the Forgot Password option on SSO login page, and they are able to reset the password by answering the challenging questions. Password updated successfully and asked to back to login. When they are entering the new password on the login page it is not taking the new passsword but still they are able to login with the old password.
