Tracking a returnable container

Some of our products are shipped in a returnable stainless steel container.  Once the customer consumes the product they are supposed to ship them back so that we can clean and re-use.

Does JDE have a standard way of possibly tracking them?  Knowing where they went and when they've come back?

Any brainstorming ideas are welcomed.

We are on tools / apps 9.1
