Rejection notification not in my work center PO approval processVersion 9.0, tools 8.98

E1 version 9.0, tools 8.98. Purchase order approval. I receive a message in my work center when the purchase order has been approved but I do not receive anything when it is rejected.

The approver does not receive any notification that there is a purchase order awaiting his approval.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why these are not in the work centers?
