How to change the time zone for a customer. Related to : Doc ID 1917500.1

Getting the following error in the Planned Shipment Interface: Error: Time Zone Code received from Oracle Transportation Management is not a valid time zone in E-business suite. Please update and reprocess the records using the Interface Message Corrections Form.There was an error processing the interface data from Oracle Transportation Management.
Upon further research, found the Note Doc ID 1917500.1 which exactly explains this issue. However, the solution proposed doesn't seem to make sense(at least for me). The solution was: "Change the time zone back to the time zone that is reflecting on the stuck transaction."
My confusion is ... what timezone are they talking about here. I searched the customer master and can't find a specific timezone setting there. All I could find are only set at he profile options level, Timezone settings are like Server Timezone, Client Timezone etc.
