HFM 11.1.2.4.205 decimal values cant be entered via HFM grid intermittently

windows 2012

SQL server 2008

Users including admin are trying to enter decimal values via HFM grid and get error as " invalid values " . Sometimes it works perfectly fine. This is a intermittent issue.

we tried to reconfigure HFM database and redeployed still same isssssue.

we have the right collation set at SQL server
