How to enable Ctrl+A combination to select a field's value?

Hi All,

Currently it is noticed that Ctrl+A key combination is not working in Open UI, Siebel application in any fields to select the whole field content.

We do have a requirement to enable this combination, with which the user shall select the field value to copy.

Ideally this is the very basic function for any web based application and browser.

May we know any thoughts on this, about how to enable and why it is not working.
