Fleet Management Summary

Dear Community,

Here's what my team has gathered from cMRO documentation on Fleet Management. We've not tested much of Fleet Management, so this is all from Oracle documentation.

It gleans information for utilization tracking, mission/configuration alignment and  performance. In a nutshell, Fleet management enables planners to create a “Operation Plan” and “Unit maintenance Plan” based off Fleet-Unit association and Utilization rates over time.  A "Fleet" is basically any criteria the user wants to evaluate from a performance or utilization stand point.  Different situations, missions etc may require different maintenance requirement or configuration which can be associated to an operational plan, which the tail numbers can be moved between.  For example:  A wet environment to a dry environment, a combat sortie to a training sortie.  Below is some
