GIT repository structure AND Oracle EBS R12

Hello gurus,

                 We are in the planning stages for a new version control system. We are on Oracle EBS R12.1. Planning to use Git. Is any one of you using it with ebs ?

                 If yes, what would be a better way to create repository structure ? I mean , should we create one like APPL_TOP with sub-directories for AR, AP etc OR is a repository with each new project and  related files better ?
